MISSION TO SEAFARERS

1. Regular visits to the ships from various countries at Chennai harbor in order to meet the seafarers. This helps to find out their problems at work, at home or any other concerning their life.
2. To maintain a rapport between the seafarers and community at large.
3. To make the seafarers feel at home when they are far away from their homes.
4. To counsel them and help them at the time of crises , injustice, etc.
5. To affirm their faith through the word and sacrament.(conducting Eucharistic service on board the ship).
6. To create a wholesome fellowship, Joy and  Peace.
7. To  be concerned about their daily needs especially at times of  their illness, discomfort, depressions, etc.,
8. To establish justice, the petitions of seafarers in their work can  be solved by the help of ITF ( an international organization).
